■Walcott Defeats Andy Walsh,New York. March 31.—Joe Walcott, the Barbadoes negro welterweight pugilist, defeated Andy Walsh, of Brooklyn, who is in the middleweight class, in a twenty-round bout at the Broadway Athletic club last night. Walsh was a substitute for Mysterious Billy” Smith and had but six days’ training.
