BOXING.Snailum and Hales, two celebrated boxers in the weft, who have fought feveral times, in which the latter has always been vior, had another rencontre on Marfhiield Downs, near Briftoi, on the 17th. Big Ben', who has fome time been refiding at Kingf-wood, his place of nativity, inftruftetj Snailum during ftx weeks previous to the fight, and was fo confident of his pupil’s fuccefs, that he betted a considerable fum of money on him,. The battle commenced, in a large ring encircled with ropes, at two o’clock, and lafted one hour and forty-four minutes.
