INNSBRUCK, Austria (UPI) — Adolf Martin Bor mann, 28-year-old son of Hit ler’s right-hand man, was or dained a Roman Catholic priest. Bishop Bruno Wechner or dained Bormann and 25 other men in a three hour ceremony f ar the Jesuit Church here. The church was packed with newsmen and cameramen but, Bormann did not welcome the attention. He lowered his head every time a lens was focused on him. Bormann, born April 14, 1930, in Gruenwald, near Mun ich, Germany, was the eldest of 10 children of Martin Bor mann, the second man in Adolf Hitler’s Nazi empire. He spent his youth in south ern Germany and Austria. In 1945, after his father disap peared from shattered Berlin, Bormann was raised by an Austrian peasant family at Kirchental, near Lofer, in the province of Salzburg. It was while staying with this family that he decided to devote his life to the Catholic Church. According to members of his family he wants to go to Coquihatville in the Belgian Congo. Bormann studied at the Jesuit College at Innsbruck and at the University of Inns bruck. He will remain here another year studying theol ogy and philosophy before be ing assigned to a mission.
