Harry Stevens is a curtain lifter tomnrp political changes in New Brunswick Itis stated in this quarter that Dr Mac*late of . tbe pensions and health portfolio, will become the next lieutenant-governor of the province. The present occupant of that office, His Honor General Hugh H- Mac-I^ean, was a consenting hold-over, by alengthened term, and will now be replaced Hon. R. B. Hanson by the veteran doctor from St. John. There is a senate vacancy in the province, and with it Is coupled the name of Thomas Bell, M P. for St. John County and Albert.
