Governor appoints to boardsSANTA FE (AP) — The office of Gov. Garrey Carruthers has announced appointments and reappointments of members of several state boards and commissions.Kathy Easterling ot Las Cruces and Patsy Roberts of Lovington were reappointed to the board of trustees for the Children’s Trust Fund, for terms ending July 1, 1993.Easterling is an employee of the Las Cruces Public Schools and Roberts is Lea County treasurer.Carruthers reappointed retired Maj. Gen. Niles J. Ful-wyler of Santa Fe to the state Armory Board for a term ending Aug. 20, 1991.Fulwyler, 60, a national defense consultant in Santa Fe, retired as commanding general of White Sands Missile Range in June 1986. He also is vice chairman of the Space Center Commission.Richard L. Morris of Hobbs and Samuel L. Ojinaga of Las Cruces were reappointed to the Athletic Trainers Advisory Board, for terms ending July 1, 1992.Morris, 40, is a professor of physical education and sports health curriculum at New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs. Ojinaga, 29, is a library assistant with the Water Resources Research Institute at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.Carruthers appointed 16 members to the Governor’s Health Policy Advisory Committee, a panel created in 1987 to provide recommendations for a 10-year state health policy.The appointees are Max Bennett of Albuquerque, chairman, Loretta Armenta of Albuquerque, Edwin A. Bemis Jr. of Los Alamos, Linda A. Sec-hovec of Albuquerque, Edith K. Pierpoint of Santa Fe, Arthur Vall-Spinosa of Albuquerque, Josephine T. Waconda of Albuquerque, Jo Ann Brininstool of Jal, Dorothy Crawford of Los Alamos, Judith R. Enright of Los Alamos, Howard M. Shaver of Albuquerque, Linda M. Pedro of Chimayo and Niel J. Pez-zillo of Albuquerque.
