Cherokee To Work In Area For Indian Manpower GroupXENIA — The Tecumseh Confederacy Manpower Program, with its bast*'of operations in Xenia, announced 11 day the appointm en 11f f i ve out rear h workers for the Cincinnati, Columbus. Lima, Dayton and Springfield areas The workers, who will cover designated counties, have been assigned the task of finding and contacting people of American Indian descent who are presently underemployed or unemployed and placing them in available job positions.Sandra Kumbaugh, a Cherokee, who will cover the Lima area (Allen. 'Putnam, Van Wert and Auglaize counttesf, has attended Ohio State Uni versity and Nor! hwestern Business College and has extensive public contact experience Ms. Kumbaugh. who resides in Middle Point, can be reached at 968-2581Ms. Kumbaugh stated that she hits c on t a ct ed se ver a 1 pot en t i a I appl i can ts and is available to interview all interested people of American Indian descent and will also be rant acting potential employers in the Lima area.“Not only do we intend to place and find jobs for American Indian people, but we also hope to help these people by seeking out social services, to help them attain their needs,” Ms. Rumba ugh stated.The Tecumseh Confederacy Manpower Program has been in operation since July, 1975. Under the direction of Brook C.
