“The Palestine Question” will be viewed Wednesday evening at the Syracuse Museum of Fine Arts as a highlight of the meeting of the Foreign Pol icy association of Syracuse, acc ording to Wil liam G. HiNen, program chair man of the or ganization. Speaking on the Arab side will be Dr. Kha lil A. Totah. His opponent will be Dr. Carl — ——— Hermann Voss. DF B. A. Totan | The debate will begin at 4 p. m. Dr. Totah, the son of Quaker parents, was born 10 miles from Jerusalem. After an American education which was completed by a AB degree at Clark university in Worcester, Mass. and a Ph. D. at Columbus, he was compelled to re turn to Europe to serve in the, Turkish, army during world war 1. He escaped to join the AEF as a YMCA secretary. Following world war 1, he de vated many years in Palestine to educational work, in charge of teacher training for the one government, and as head of the Quaker school at Ham Allah. Dr. Tatah is remaining in the U. S. during the education of his children and is serving as execu tive director of the Institute of Arab-American affairs.
