Lasoch, a crowd that filled the Second Baptist church heard the evangelist, Rev G. C. Teague, D. D .of Granite Falls, bring a power ful sermon on the subject of “Con viction.” Using for his text John 1628-10 the evangelist showed how man wittin his own power could not save himself. He explained that any man realizes that he is that he cannot be saved. He used an wn nrustration a man falling from a ship would make every effort to swim safety and would exhaust his own strench before he would ctv for help.
