Supt. B. D. Hudson Elected Treasurer of the Organization of Eastern Ilinois Athletics. At the regular fall meeting of the Eastern Illinois Athletic Association at Casey Tuesday evening B. D Hud son, superintendent of the local schools was elected treasurer. The meeting, which was in the form of a banquet followed by the business meeting, was held in the dining room of the Hotel DeLite and was attended by representatives of all of the 16 schools belonging to the association. The election of officers were as follows O. W. Walters, Casey, presi dent; John Moss, Paris, vice-presi dent; E. O May, Robinson, secretary; B. D Hudson. Marshall, treasurer Professor Lance of Charleston was elected as the fifth member of the board of control. It was decided to hold the annual basketball tournament in the new gymnasium at Casey on February 10 and 11. The new building will be capable of holding at least 3500 people comfortably. Paris was awarded the track and field meet and the literary contests. The track meet will be held April 23 Vice-president Moss was authorized to make arrangements with the State Debating League whereby the con tests of the organization could be connected with the state contest in some satisfactory manner . Representatives attending the meeting from Marshall were: Supt. B. D Hudson, Principal R. R. Geddes, Coach Dom Ping, and J. C. Farmer. These men are members of the Ath letic Board of Control of the Marshall high school.
