Dinner Dance at Country Club of interest among the events of the week in the party at the Iowa City Country club last eve ning. For the dinner which was served at six thirty o'clock, cov ers were arranged for about nine ty at tables appointed in autumn colors. Bowls of zinnias formed the centerpieces and were used in giving a touch of color to the rooms. During the remainder of the evening, a Program of dances furnished entertainment. A tag dance and an old fashioned cir cle two -step were popular feat ures. The committee for the party was composed of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph A. Kuever, Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Michalek performed the double ring service in the pres ence of a large number of relatives and friends. Miss Clara Brejcha of Cedar Radios, a cousin of the bride, played the wedding march from Lohengrin and Mrs. Wilfred Cole of Iowa City sang a number of nuptial ¢oles. Miss Elenor Zen ishek of Solon, attended her cou sin as bride amaid and Mr. Edmund Cole, a brother of the bride, was the best man. The wedding gown was fashioned of white embroidered georgette with trimmings of velvet petals and brilliants. The coronet veil was held in place with orange blossoms. A shower bouquet of Sunburst roses and lilies of the valley com pleted the bride’s costume. The bridesmaid wore peach georgette with silver lace trimmings and carried Ophelia roses. A reception was given by Mrs. Mary Cole in the afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pod uska, four miles northwest of Solon Mrs. Poduska being a cousin of the bride. About seventy-five guests were in attendance. Mrs. Cerveny was graduated from the Solon high schol last spring while Mr. Cerreny attended the Cedar Rapids Business college. They will live on a farm near Fair fax. Gives Post-Nuptial Shower Miss Zelma Reha was hostess at an attractively appointed party last Monday evening at her home, 815 North Johnson street, as a post nuptial courtesy to Mrs. Eugenia Lechty Boyle. Games and contesta furnished entertainment during the evening and a shower of linen gifts was presented by little Kath erine Grim.
