Sunday, Sept. 25, being the 67th anniversary of the birthday of Mrs. Wiley. Crowder, near Silver wood, her relatives and friends de cided to help her to celebrate. They began gathering early in the morning with well-filled bas kets, and by noon quite a crowd had assembled. Tables were spread and a feast fit for a king was served. Jolly good humor prevailed and everybody ate ,and enjoyed the occasion. The after noon was devoted to music and a social good time. Ancle Wiley, who is an old-time fiddler of wide reputation, and Mr. Frank Allen furnished ‘the music, and ev eryone voted it a treat. Several valuable ‘presents a were received by Mrs. Crowder. After a gene ral good time, which lasted well into the evening, the guests re turned to their homes, after wishing Mrs. Crowder many more such anniversaries. Eighty-one guests were pres ent, as follows: Rev. M. Martin and wife, J. Pritchard and wife, §. Wilkins and wife, Wes Winter and wife,B. Penner and wife, E. Brum mett and wife, ‘E. ‘Allen and wife, Jas. Ferguson and wife, H. Cook and wife, Thos, Cadman and wife, Mrs. Jess Crowder, Mrs. Ross Da vis, Miss Pearson, N. Keller, Tan Allen, W. Mitchell, A. Oblinger, J. Keller, and the following with their families, A. R. Lewsader, R. Stephenson, Geo. Pritchard, Wm. Maskel, Mrs. M. Davis, G. M. Pritch ard, Aus Crowder, Frank Allen,Mrs Laura Wood, Mrs. Laura Hack
