Great Outrago~-Kailroad track tora ap and train thrown off, near Pardeville.Some miserable villain ton* up the tmck of the L*i Crosse Railroad near Pardeville on Sunday night, ;n consequence of which the morning train from LaCrosse vv»s thrown off the track mid the bnggfljje master, W. Mosel y of Milwaukee, had his legs broken off. The track had been torn up in two places; the one father west was discovered, and the rails were put down before the train arrived. About half a mile further oast two lengths of mils were taken up which was not dis covered until the train had almost reached the spot And could not be stopped. The baggage master, the only person injured by the accident, was a young man and a general favorite on the road. The engine and baggage car were smashed up and ! the only wonder is that no more person.-* were injured.I; is probable that the ourtflge had beencommitted by some ono who had his stock killed by the cars, and has taken this desperate and inexcusable revenge. We are aware that the farmers have suffered severe losses of horses nnd cattle, by the cars, and we are informed that very recently five horses wore killed iu the vicinity of* this affair, belonging to one man.— Almost every week some farmer looses cattle in tins way, for which ho can got no pay. These wrongs naturally exasperate men who are not easily excited,) but they do not for a moment justify nn j outrage of this character. The. disre-1 gard for the Jives of innocent persons; manifested by the man who perpetrated ! this deed is n crime of the greatest mag- i mtude, and culls for severe censure and j punishment. The Railroad Company of- : ferfl a reward of $1000 for the discovery !of the offender, and wc earnestly hope he jwill be found and receive his deserts.jP. S.
