Italian-Americansto honor Columbusllalian-Americans jn southern Cook county will honor Christopher Columbus at a dinner-dance Oct. 9 in the grand ballroom of the Martinique restaurant in Evergreen Park.The annual event is spon* sored by St. Anthony Italian church of Roseland Rev Florlan Girometta, CS, pastor of St. Anthony parish, said the dinner-dance will serve two pur poses - to honor Columbus, whom many believe to be one of the greatest explorers in history, and to hold a reunion of Italians of the area, especially former Roseland residents Mrs Lena Carh is serving as chairwoman and is assisted by Chicago Aid.
