Eurich,Mr, and Mrs, John E, Eurich and Mr. and Mrs, Andrew Miki-ta spent a little time with Helen Eurich and house guest Joseph R. Eurich and Mrs, Darrel Dutro after the houseware party at the home of Mr, ana Mrs.Harold A. Eurich.Mr, and Mrs, Darrel E. Dutro painted Helen Eurich's home on me outside last week, Mr, Dutro left for home after a couple of days and Mrs. Dutro and son remained for a couple more days helping her mother. The ones who gave Joseph R. Eurich a hand on his place were John E. Eurich, Harold A. Eurich and Alvin J, Eurich and Mrs. Mary Dzurovchin helped \j to paint on the inside of the house,Sunday dinner guests at Helen Eurich's home were Mr. and Mrs. Alvin J. Eurich, Mrs.Mary Dzurovchin and Mr, and Mrs. Harold A. Eurich and family. *Mrs. Katherine Pylypczuk passed away Saturday morning. Sympathy is extended to die families,Joseph R. Euiich spent Friday night with Mrs, Mary Dzurov-' chin and family in Elbert.Mr. and Ites, Greg Olyejar and family spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs, Geo. Eurich.Mrs, Mary Dzurovchin was a Thursday overnight guest with Mrs. Stephena Hertneky.Mr. and Mrs. Alvin J. Eurich, Mrs. Mary Dzurovchin and Helen Eurich took Joseph R. Eurich to the airport in Colorado Springs Sunday afternoon. He was on his way home to California,Mrs. Francis Verlinden of North Carolina flew out Saturday to her sister's funeral, Mrs. Katherine Pylypczuk.Mr, and Mr, Andrew Mikita were Sunday evening visitors with Mr. and Mrs. joe Gdovin and son.* «LAST WEEK’S NEWS:11 was a joint effort by Mrs. Dwane Jagodzinski and Mrs.Errol Hermeky at the home of Mrs. jagodzinski to welcome Jan Johnston and Sharon Gibbs to the community Monday af-1 ternoon. The ladies were Tres-. sa Brase, Vera Olyejar and grand-. son Andy, Linda Woolsey, Barbara Lunday, Dee Eurich,D, A, Pieper, Mary Mathis, Esther Forteabaugh ' Gladys Glaser, Stephenia Hertneky and Helen Eurich, also Jan Johnston and Sharon Gibbs and the hostess Margaret Jagodzinski and Bette Hertneky. They served delicious cookies and bars with coffee, tea and punch. All had a nice time visiting.Mrs, Geo. Eurich took Mrs, Chris Clayberg back to bet home in Colorado Springs Tuesday.Mr, and Mrs. Alvin J. Eurich left Thursday morning on their short vacation to the mountains and to Glenwood Springs.Mr. and Mrs. Gary Nctz drove to Grand Junction Thursday to Mrs. Notz's grandmothers funeral. Sympathy is extended tothe families,Mrs. John R, Mikita spent Thursday wife Mr, and Mrs.Steve A. Trojanovich,Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ciapiano of New Jersey spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs, Andy Dzurovchin in Colorado Springs and with Mrs,-Mary Dzurovchin in Elbert.Mrs. Mary Dzurovchin visited with Mrs, Gilbert Pritchard in Simla Friday and later in the afternoon she called on Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Lemesany and Helen Eurich.Mrs. Harold A, Eurich and Nina and Helen Eurich called on Mr. and Mrs. Steve A. Trojanovich while the cjiildren took in the Punt Pass Contest Friday evening. They also called on'Mr, and Mrs. Steve Olyejar Jr. and family.Mrs. Mary Dzurovchin met Joseph M. Eurich at the Peterson Airport Monday,Rush United Methodist Church NewsThe Rush Book Group' will meet this Saturday, October 1, at noon at the Rush Church.The book for discussion is 'Cry My Beloved Country' by Alan Paton. The discussion will be preceeded by a noon luncheon with the menu centering around a potluck sharing of South African foods. All are invited. Mrs. Lynda Johnson may be called for further details.Next Sunday will be W orld Communion Sunday at the Rush Church. To help prepare for this Sacrament, Pastor Robert Fortenbaugh preached last Sun day on 'The Sactednes Of Bread' and will preach this coming Sunday on the theme 'He Took The Cup’. Any person who confesses Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is welcome to share in the Sacrament of Holy Communion.in the afternoon next Sunday any of die Rush community are invited to Open House at the home of Pastor Robert Fortenbaugh from 12 to 3 p. m.GED Test OfferedThe East Central Board of Cooperative Educational Service* (80CES) will be offering die GED (General Educational Development) Test on Friday, September 30, starting at 8:00 a. m. at the BOCES Office,820 2nd Avenue, Limon.This test is an opportunity for those adults who were unable to complete their high school requirements to earn a Colorado High School Equivalency Certificate.The subjects covered in this test are: English, Social Studies, Natural Science, Literature and Mathematics, Applicants may take all tests, or any portion that they need to complete for their GED Certificate,Applicants will need to bring proof of living in Colorado (driver'slicense, etc.) and proof of being over 18 years of age, or they must have prior approval from the State of Colorado to take this test.
