Resident HereFor 20 Years Dies TuesdayServices will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the First Methodist Church for Mrs. Mabel C. Thompson of 218 S. Main St. She died Tuesday.The Rev. Henry Mood will officiate at the funeral, and interment will be in the Hill -crest Memorial Park in Dallas.An Irving resident for the last 20 years. Mrs. Thompson is a native of Meadville, Pa. and lived in Dallas before moving here.She was a member of the Irving Garden Club and the Irving Garden and Arts Center an was active in her church circle.Survivors include a son, Dr. Barrett M. Thompson of Irving: a sister, Gladys Draut of Dallas; two grandsons, Miles and James Barrett Thompson of Irving; and several nieces.Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Leach Funeral Home.
