* SOCIETY ********* * * * *The social events of the week opened with a large card party j on Monday evening which was { given in the home of Mrs. W. R. I Mark, at 1135 Central Ave. S. W. The party was sponsored by the members of St. George’s Guild and St. Agnes Guild of St. j George’s Episcopal church. A large j number of friends responded to | the cordial invitation extended j previous to the social event and I the progressions of the game af- } forded opportunity for the exchange of social greetings. A buffet lunch was served in conclusion, and the courtesies of the j evening were extended by Mes- j dames S. W. Spotts, W. R. Mark, I Lyle Hubbel and Millicent Bourne. |* * * ?
