Dr. P. R.Outlaw, city health officer, filed thecomplaint against her, charging her with illegally practicing medicine. T)r. Outlaw claimed that the woman was exceeding her permit by administering medicine.Mrs. Pargas’s trial was set for Frl- jdav afternon in the countv court*at law\ but was passed when several witnesses failed to appear.An agreement was then reached j between Hr. Outlaw and Frank Lyons, Mrs. Pargas's attorney, that the charges should he dropped, provided she leaves town. The county attorney agreed to the arrangement, hut stipulated that the charges would not be dismissed until it is definitely established that the woman has left the city.it
