Mrs. O. M. Pugh Given a Birthday Surprise.Mrs. O. M. Pugh, of Capon Bad a lovely birthday surprise re-JU Mis m d tocently, when her daughter, Miss, joltHazel’ Pugh, arranged the surprise*andbv having her mother visit her eld daughter, Mrs. William Wolfog, at Gore, for a few days. On her return ah© found the drivewaydn fypn* of her home lined with automobile^ *he, thinking acme accident had happened to some one of the family, hastened to th© house. On entering the yard she found a long table beautifully spread with everything good to eat and a host of friends to greet her. Mra. M. O. Horner made the birthday cake, it being an immense white cake with 53 pink candles on It, the color scheme being pink and white.! Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Pugh and children, Mario, Wilson, Erneat and Stewart; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Pugh and son, Verlous; Mr. and Mrs. George Pugh, Mr. Cecil Pugh, Mr. and Mrs. Elson Pugh and two children, Nita and Norwood; Mrs. Minnie Arnold, Miss Althea Arnold, Mr. Raymond Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Seldom Vivian Seldon, Kenneth Seldon, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson Horner and daughter.
