Baseball Managers Meet and Com plete the Organization. SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 28.—The California Baseball League was finally organized tonight at a meeting in which the Reliance, Gilt Edge, Olympic and Stockton nines were represented. J. Cal Ewing was made Chairman,and Jack McGlynn Secretary. 5S. N. Ruck rer of San Jose, who was present, was prade President and Treasurer of the League, which is regularly incorpor ted. The following are the Directors: E. L. Kripp and W. J. Hennessey, Sacra mento; Stockton, H. J. Cochran and G. H. Campbell; Oakland, J. Cal Ewing and H. A. Tubbs; San Jose, S. N. Ruck er and D. J. Flannery; San Francisco, H. H. McPike, W. H. Daly and T. P. Robinson. Teams in the League will play for sixty per cent. of the gross receipts. ‘The management of the grounds will receive thirty-five per cent. and five per cent. will go for the trophy. It was decided to place in charge of Mr. Rucker five per cent. of the gross receipts of each game, the total amount to be given to the winning club at the end of the season.
