Wisconsin Chief for publication.Death op Mrs. Morrison.—From her son-in*law, Hon. 3. W. Dean, we lera that news ot the death of Mff. Morrison, widow of the late James Morrison, Ksq., of this city, has just been received. She died on the 23th of August, at the residence of her grand daughter, at Coast Range, Colusa Co , California, after a brief illness of Sve days. Her disease was con* geslire chills. Mrs. M. was 65 years of age at the j time of her death. She was among the pioneer settlers of the West, and resided in Wisconsin nearly forty years ago. She was widely known in the State and nniTfcrsaiiy esteemed for her many excellencies. The intelligence of her death will bring sadness to many hearts.—Maditon Journal.1
