We published, some time since, (says the Galena Jeffersonian) an account of the supposed murder of Thoreoe 4L Esterbrook, who left Reading, Windsor county, Vermont, on the 4th of Heptember, with the intention of marrying and settling in St. Joseph county, Michigan. On the 13th of September he pot within four miles of Mendon at Leonidas hotel, from which time and place the mystery with regard to him commences. At a late term of the Circuit Court in lb?II above county, bills of indictment were found I against Amos White, and Samuel Ulm, for the 1 murder of Esterbrook, principally on the testimony of Giles Harding, who pretends that he was present at the murder. Harding made this confession while in jail for stealing the castings from ploughs, and breaking them up and selling them for old iron. The Toledo Commercial says, that neither the hat nor the ; boots, nor watch, nor any part of the body of lvs ter brook, have been found. The case is sim-I ilar to that of John B. Looks, of Winnebago county. i
