By CARRIE MUSKATMINNEAPOLIS (UPI) -Green Bay quarterback Randy Wright, after a solid showing against the Chicago Bears, Sunday will aim at the rejuvenated Minnesota Vikings.The NFC Central Division foes square off at the Metrodome in their 50th meeting. The series is deadlocked at24-24-1.The kickoff will be at noon.Wright and the Packers are winless this season, dropping a25-12 decision to Chicago Monday night. The young Green Bay quarterback had his best outing, hitting 22 of 41 passes for 242 yards with one interception. He threw nine times to Phillip Epps, a career high for the receiver.The Packers led 12-10 going into the fourth quarter against the Bears, but a Chicago field goal, safety and touchdown pass ended the game.“We’re 0-3 and we have 13 games to go and if we improve every week as we have to date, we’re going to win more games than we lose out of these next 13,” Wright said.But the Packers have scored just 25 points this season, and only one touchdown. They will be facing one of the stingiest defenses in the NFL.Both the Vikings, 2-1, and Los Angeles Rams lead the league in fewest points allowed, giving up just 30 in three games. Minnesota’s defense also has not allowed a touchdown in the second half this season and has not been scored on in the second half in the last two games.Despite the statistics, the Viking players are not taking Green Bay lightly. The Packers have won the five straight meetings between the two rivals.“We didn’t take them seriously last year and they beat us both games so we’ll take them seriously this season for sure,” defensive tackle Keith Millardsaid.Millard was one of three Viking players who intercepted a pass in Minnesota’s 31-7 romp over Pittsburgh.
