by Mrs. Jim Routledge Sincere sympathy of the district is extended to the family, friends and relatives of the late Mrs. Joe Brandon who passed away at a nursing home in Brandon on September 16th. Funeral services were Monday, September 19th at Brocks-Donovan Funeral Chapel in Brandon with burial in Hamiota Cemetery. She was a long time resident of this district until she made her home in Brandon. She would have been 99 in December. Also sincere, sympathy to the family, friends and relatives of the late Dick Bomford who passed away suddenly on September 20th. Funeral services were held in Hamiota United Church on Thursday, September 22nd with interment at Hamiota. Our best wishes go to Cam Argue who starts taking a Diploma Course in Agriculture at the U of M on September 26th and to Jo-Anne Westwood also at U of M taking her 2nd year in Human Ecology. It is great to hear the combines humming again and giving the farmers another chance at getting their crops harvested. Get well wishes to Mrs. Peggie Morison and Mrs. Ruby Godlen who were patients in Hamiota Hospital.
