ObituaryAddie May Hartley was born in Livingston County, Illinois. At the age of 12 she moved with her parents to Hancock County, Iowa. Later she lived in Laurens where she was graduated from high school. In 1929 she came to Marathon where for the past several years she had been associated with her brother, Sam, in the hardware business. 'Addie, a long-time member of the Methodist Church, leaves to mourn her loss, four brothers, Ralph and Sam of Marathon, H. Ray of Des Moines, and William of Boone.She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Thomas, Marshall and Martin, and one sister, Iva.
