LOUIS GOLDBERGServices were held last Tuesday for Louis L. Goldberg, 53, who lived at 4012 Van Burcn for many years and was a leader in organizing block clubs to improve and maintain the appearance of the neighborhood. He was one of the early members of the I’nited Properly Group. He hid moved to Garfield Park from Lawndale, hut lived at 1140 Morse at the time of his death.He is survived by his widow, Evelyn and two daughters, Pauline and Karen. He was a member of the .Jewish War Veterans, Commodore Barry post, American Legion, FVnai B nth, Congregation Rnai Israel of Austin and Amalgamated Transit I'nion local 308. Interment was in George Sulton lodge I BOA, Jew ish Waldheimce me ter v.
