‘At Camp McCoy Bnd Homan's new address is Pvt. Alvin J. Homan Co. F 417 Int. APO 76, Camp McCoy, Wis. Leaves For Camp Cooke Chaplain LeRoy Mattress left on Wednesday for Camp Cooke, Calif. after spending a 16 days furlough with his family and friends in Or ange City, in New Guinea Pfc. Dick Van Zanten, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Van Zanten, form er Alton resident, now at Orange City, has been in New Guinea for several months and lately had the pleasure of a visit with his cousin, Lit. Gerrit Kersbergen, who is also in that area. Dick is with the Sig nal Corps. Rick has two brothers in the service, Pvt. Case at Ft. Leonard Wood ,and Pvt. John at Camp Fannin, Texas, and both are expected home on furlough some time after Oct. 7.
