SGT. ROWE SLIGHTLY IWOUNDED IN FRANCEWord has been received from the 'War Department that Staff Sgt. S. C. Rowe of Marion was slightly wounded in France on July 8. He received a shrapnell wound in the right shoulder but, it was-stated, he returned to active duty on July 20. He is a paratrooper and has been in s service overseas since last Decemb- i er. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. D. iiL. Rowe of Marion.ยป Sgt. Rowe's brother, Pvt. 0. D. i Rowe, is now stationed in New Guinea.
