HUMBOLDT, IOWA We expect to have assembled the biggest bunch of harness horses and gal lopers that was ever on the Humboldt County Fair grounds. If you are a lover of good horse races don’t miss this event. We will also have baseball games. Rode versus Badger on Wednesday. If you remember these two baseball clubs played a 16 inning game on the Fairgrounds during the Fair. Arne Sorlien will pitch for Bode. This game alone will be worth miles to go and see. On Thursday the game will be between Thor and Ottosen. This will also be a good game. There will be a big chance both nights of the race meet. The World Series Baseball games will be Broadcast, and a score board will be placed in front of the grandstand so everyone can take in the World series, the baseball games and the races at the same time. We will have a big line of concessions, rides and shows. This event will come just before cornhusking starts and you owe it to your self and family to take two days off and enjoy this race meet. The admission charges at the outside gate will be 25c, the grandstand 25c and the quarter stretch 20c. There will be no admission charge at the out side in the evening. This race meet is sponsored by the Fair Association. We want every one to get back of this race meet and BOOST. IT IS A FAIR BENEFIT.
