Sherman on ms inarch to the sea* Then he went to Columbia. South Carolina, and to Raleigh. North Carolina, and continued north to Washington, D. C., for the grand review. He was in the battles of Thompson’* HIM* Black River Ray non. Jackson. Champion Hill and Upper Black river.
