Weidman, be- ! came the bride of John Sanford Holt 1 of Wilmington, Delaware, on Satur- -day evening, September 22, which was 1 the climax to a succession of inter- 1 esting and delightful pre-nuptial en- i tertaining. jThe ceremony was performed at the Weidman home at 601 South Main street, by the Rev. Dr. Hugh Kennedy of the Detroit area, Methodist Episcopal church. The hour was eight in the evening, and was followed by a reception for the 65 guests, who were served a two-course wedding luncheon, { ‘following which the couple was driven to Saginaw, where they took the train for Wilmington.The wedding party stood in a bower of palms and gladioli, with a canopy of festooned smilax. The room was further decorated with banks of asters at the fireplace and in the win- j dows. The aisle from the stairway to j the wedding arbor was marked by bands of ribbon.Miss Weidman wore for her wed- C ding gown a lovely dress of cream } panne velvet, sleeveless, with a deep j bertha of rich lace. An attractive pearl ornament added a touch to the * exquisite beauty of the gown.
