Hoesslie andMargaretha Hoesslle, deceasedPassed May 25,1877; byatwo*thlrd vote.The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:Section 1. All the estate, interest and property of the people of this State, acquired by escheat at the death of Jacob R. HoesaJie, In and to a certain piece or parcel of land lately appropriated by the people of this State for canal purposes, such land being situated in the town of Ofcisco, In the county of Onondaga. New York, being a portion of the premises lately owned ana held by said Jacob it. Hoesslle, commencing at a point on the east shore of Otisco lake, ttience south eighty-eight degrees east, one and fifteen one-huudredths chains; thence south thirty-one east, one and thirty-seven one hundredths chains; thence south fourteen and oue-half degrees east, two and sixty one-hundreths chains; thence south forty-one degrees and ten minutes east, three and thirty-six one bundrethi chains; thence south thirty-five degrees and forty-five minutes east, four and six one-hundredth chains; thence south twenty-two and one-half degrees east* two and sixty one-hundredths chains; thence south sixty-four and one-half degrees east, two and forty-eight one hundreths chains; thence south fifty-one and one-fourth degrees east, two and ten one-hundredths chains; thence south forty-two degrees and tea minutes east, one and five one-hundredths chains; thence south fifty-six and three-fourihs decrees west, sixt^elght links to the shore of the take; thence northerly along the lake to the place of beginning, containing two and seven hundred and thirty-six one-thou-sandrhs acres of land, as described in Onondaga county clerk's office, book of deeds one hundred and eighty-three, page forty-two, is hereby assigned and released to Charles R. Hoesilie and Caroline Haekett, adopted children of said Jacob 11. Hoesslie; and the canal appraisers of this States are empowered and directed to award to said two children the damages for euch appropriation, which appear from the evidence already takeu herein, before the said canal appraisers, in the same manner and with like efi’ect as though said adopted children bad acquired the said real estate as heirs of said Jacob K.
