An outstanding display of Negro exhibits will be shown at the Fair here this year, with Mrs. Coy Isley and James Norris as directors of the Negro exhibits department heading the women and girls’ divisions, and the men’s and boys’ divisions, respectively.Wednesday, October 1, has been, designated as special Negro Children’s Day with all Negro school children being admittediat the main gate for five cents.f. Promising the most diversified exhibits in the history of the event here, with special emphasis on agriculture and livestock, the 47 th annual Greensboro Fair opens Sunday for a full week of glorious entertainment and educational features.The dates fof the 47th annual exposition .. . 'September 28 to October 4 . . . will feature some of the nation’s outstanding fair attractions with special programs booked for each day during the week. . \IOpening FeatureOpening the festivities Sunday afternoon, Bill France will present Championship Stock Car Races; with a strong field of the nation’s top stock car drivers risking their necks) in a fast chasefor the outstanding purses. The stock car races will be the exclusive feature of opening day.Monday night will be “Thrill Night,” with a special double-action program at the grandstand. Jack Kochman’s world champion. “Hell Drivers' will be the No. 1 feature, with the No. 2 attraction an exciting program of outstanding circus and hippodrome acts presented by George A. Hamid, of international fame.Judging DayTuesday will be judging day for all exhibits. With the Fair in full swing, Tuesday night also will feature the first appearance of George A.
