Richland Township Harve Greene and family, of Bloom field, were here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Samie Flater, of near Coen, were here Sunday. Clark Terrell, of Allen Chapel, and Daniel Workman, of Bloomfield, vis ited Mr. and Mrs. John Workman, Sunday. David Sharp called on Elmer Floyd, at Sharkey, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sparks and granddaughter, Virgie Sparks, visited L. O. Smith and family Sunday. Miss Susan Stalcup, of South High land township, was here Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. James Quackenbush, of Kansas, came last Saturday for a visit with relatives and friends. Mrs. James Halderman, of Allen Chapel, called on Mrs. Will Glidden, Monday. Mrs. Amanda Messimore, who has been sick quite a while, is reported better. Mr. and Mrs. John Combs visited their son, Raymond, near Coen, Mon day. Items from another writer: Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Pipes visited relatives in Paris, NL, last week. Mr. and Mrs. James Quackenbush, of Kansas, are visiting relatives here. James Mahan, of Bloomington, spent Sunday here with his family. Miss Lenore Parsons, of Bloomfield, spent Sunday with Miss Lenora Flory. Mr. and Mrs. Riley Ray, of Ridge port, were here Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Addison Workman went to Linton Monday. Mrs. Dexter Workman and daugh ter, Ione, spent Sunday with home folks. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Flory, of Tanner, were here Sunday afternoon. Miss Mabel Keys, of Bloomfield, spent Sunday with Miss Juanita Hunt er. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nutt, of Shar key, attended church here Sunday night. J. F. Brammer has rented the store building of James Mahan. Mr. and Mrs. John B. Workman have moved to Lyons. Their son, Ed, will remain on the farm here. Mrs. George Kindred and son, Os car, visited Henry Kindred and family, at Worthington, Sunday. Thomas Gholson, Willie Bland and Argyle and Herold Houser visited Paul Hunter Sunday. Sunday night closed the year’s ministry at this place of Mrs. Kemp, who so bravely and loyally took up the work of her husband who was acci dentally killed in an auto wreck last spring . The farewell sermon was preached by Argyle Houser, who also preached a very instructive sermon both morning and evening. He will enter college at Findlay, Ohio, soon. Mrs. Kemp will be earnestly requested to return another year. Persons from Albany are here buy ing apples and visiting R. F. Bram mer. Miss Nona Stalcup will board with James Mahan while she teaches school here.
