It will soon be time lor new bids «to be submitted for this coatraot and a8 Mr. Staples desires to put in a new bid it was found necessary for him to tender h^s resignation.Mr Staples will continud to carry the mails to the own across the river v for ,the next 30 days it tiklng that lengh pf time to get the resignation acted on by the government officials.
