+ A worm is in the bed of youth, ‘And at the root of age.” Death has again this week visited i t mother home in this community, and talled away an old and reapested resi dent in the person of Mrs. William Hyndman. She was born in the town ship off Drammer, Peterborough county, sixty three years ago, from where she moved with her parents to the county of Grey, where she was married to Mr.Hyndman 45 years ago. They moved to this country in 1873 and set ted between Winnipeg and Portace la Praine, where tuhey remained for some time, moving up to the district seven cen years ago, and settling west of Gladstone, where she has won many friends among her acquaintances by h indly disposition. She was an ardent and consistent member of the Metho dist church, and has departed this far better and happier home. She wees the mother of eight children seven of whom survive her. ‘They are: Mrs Pabroi, Gladstone ; Mrs. Walton, Port see in Pri Mrs. Thompson, Elm River ; Mrs. Pan Enderby, B.C.; 3trs. Miner. Salmon Arm, B.C.; George J. Hyndman, Winnipeg ; F. J. Hynd man, Gladstone; and Turner Hyndman deceased. ‘The family have the sym pathy of the whole community. ‘The funeral takes place to-day to the Glad mone cemetery, and will be followed by a large concise of friends to pay the last tribute to the remains of a dear and departed friend. All fier children were here to attend the funeral
