Without Telling Family His Destination. BORROWED $1,500 AT BANK And Left for Frankfort Ostensibly to Buy Ticket For Michigan--Believ ed He Wil Return and Explain. The report which became cur rent several days ago that Ex- Trustee John M. Flora had left the country without informing his fam ily of his intended destination, has been verified, yet there are not as many sensational features connect ed with the case as most people be lieved. The facts of the matter are, as have been reported to the Democrat from a reliable source, that there has been for some time more or less of a ripple on the do mestic sea in the Flora household, and a renewal of the old trouble is said to have been one of the causes of Mr. Flora’s departure. On Thurs day of last week Mr. Flora borrow ed $1,500 at the Bank of Flora, tell ing Mr. Bright that he was going to Michigan and would probably purchase land. He returned home and Tuesday morning he packed a few articles of clothing into a grip and departed. He went to Bring hurst where he tried to buy a ticket to Michigan, but not being able to do this he purchased a ticket for Frankfort, where he was told he could secure a ticket to Michigan. All trace of Mr. Flora was just at Bringhurst. Not a line nor a word has been heard from him since he left. Some are of the opinion that Mr. Flora has a land deal on foot somewhere and as soon as the trade is closed he will return.
