Lauraville, Harford Road.—The canning house of Messrs. List it Shultz, of this place, is running on full time, and their pack will bo a heavy one. This firm gives employment to a large number of hands. The other packing houses on this road, owing to the low prices of canned goods, have not been in operation this season.Miss Estelle Richards and Mrs. G. Pilsch, of this place, have returned home, after an absence of several weeks, the former at Atlantic City, and tho latter at Poplar Springs, Md.It is rumored that Mr. James McGufiin, keeper of gate No. 1, on this road, has resigned, his resignation to tuke efTect October let.
