Pocono officials view plan for trailer parkTANNERSVILLE - The Po-eono Township Planning Commission examined land sketches and referred five items to the township engineer at a recent meeting.Planners received plans for a proposed trailer park owned by George Strzelczyk on Stad-den Road.Four trailers already exist on the site which has room for 31 more trailers. The proposed park will have central water and sewerage.Planners decided to give the plans to township supervisors and engineer John Levkulic for their review.Strzelczyk had originally submitted the proposal as a planned unit development in June when he was told his project came under the state mobile home law.The planning commission also referred to Levkulic a request from Tom Ventre to change a curve on the property of Helen Hale of Cherry Lane Estates.Doug Kitson, an East Stroudsburg surveyor, submitted plans showing a transfer of an acre of land belonging to William and John Winslow and Ruth Stewart to Albert and Margaret Gardner near Analo-mink Lake.Ed Shmidhciser, n surveyor, showed planners a sketch of 116 acres near Merrill National laboratories off Rte. 611 at Swiflwater.Thirty acres has been sold for a national conservancy and the remaining 86 acres will be divided into four lots.Shmidheiser explained the lot deeds restrict house construction to one acre and have other restrictions to prevent the use of snowmobiles and hunting.Planners said it wasn’t a subdivision so they only need a map for their records and requested a sketch for Levkulic.Edward Kenderdine, of Mountaintop Cottages, asked planners to let him build a cottage with a kitchen for seasonal leasing on his property.Sewerage inspector Jerry Thornton said he would have to have an acre of land if the cottage had a kitchen, but added Levkulic had said Kenderdine could build if he agreed to sell the property as a whole if he should sell it.Kenderdine agreed to the arrangement and said he would sign a letter written by Levkulic with the stipulation.Planners also told James and Patricia Moseley, of Scot Hi Terrace, that a map was needed for their records of the Moseleys’ plan to swap 150 feet of land for 150 feet of their neighbors' land.Planners were questioned about the possible uses for a piece of non-conforming land between properties owned by Daniel Wise and Floyd Della-ven. The question was referred to Levkulic.
