4The Plattsburgh Public School teachers are out on the Picket Lines. The strike issue is very clear cut. The teachers demand higher wages to offset a large increase in the national cost of living-Inflatkm, in short. The School Board has the money, but they fed that the teachers don't deserve the pay increase. Basically, that is the statement which led to the strike vote of last week. Nobody knowssame way. Have the graduate student recognize that if the union weakens now, it ]will be even weaker when that person |begins a full-time teaching career. ]Second, you can help by boycotting the ]businesses pof the School Board members.A conveniently located one is “The Per-scription Center”, owned by Chuck iFarrington, A board member, at 121Brinkerhoof St.
