( New Faculty Numbers Approximately 50u1Announcement of approximately 50 appointments to the Auburn faculty for the coming year have been made by President Ralph B. Draughon.Also included in Draughon’s release were announcements of promotions and appointments to administrative offices.Appointments made are listed below by school', department or office.School of Veterinary MedicineDr. Aaron H. Groth Jr. has been named head of the department of pathology and parasitology. He returns to Auburn from the University of Michigan • School of Medicine where he studied toward his doctorate during the past year. Dr. E. J. Hoff has served as acting head of the department during this period.Also appointed were Dr. G„ Y. Sorokin, instructor and Dj.D. M. Witherspoon, assistant professor.Air Force ROTC Lt. Col. Anthony H. Richard Jr. will replace Col. Ralph I. Williams, who recently completed a four year assignment here, as professor of Air Science.Other new staff members are Capt. Ralph Law and Capt. James* R.
