Alexander Miller, aged 76 years, died Friday at his home on the Corydon pike near the city, in the house in which he had lived for more than forty years. He was born in Switzerland, but came to this country when a very young man, and had lived in this city for more than a half century Four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Hayes, of Louisville, Mrs. Lot tie Pralle, Misses Emma and Lizzie Mil ler, of this city and one son Alex Miller, of Corydon survive him. His death was done to the infirmities of old age. He was a member Jefferson Lodge, No. 104 F. A.M., and Morning Star Lodge No. 7. A OO. W. He held insurance in the lat ter order to the amount of $2,000. He was a greatly respected, good citizen. A. H. Siegfried, a resident of this city for many years, died Wednesday at Waltham, Mass. While residing here he was connected with several Louisville newspapers. Mrs. Mary Fehlhaus, aged 70 years, die last Wednesday at the residence of her son Casper, upper Eighth street, of the infirmities of old age. She had re sided in this city only a short time, hav ing removed from Charlestown here. The remains were taken to her former home for burial. Mrs. Margaret Kehoe, wife of James Kehoe, dies Wednesday at her home on tower Seventh street, after an illness of several weeks of dropsy. She was 70 years old and leaves several children. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic church. Dennis Lyons, aged 56 years, died Sat urday of jaundice at the residence of his sister, Mrs. James Cody, Spring street, near Silver Grove. The funeral took place from the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Monday. Chester, the five-months-old son of Charles Long, died Sunday at the fami ly residence on lower First Street.
