The death at Fort Adama, Newport, It. Lt of Mm Laura I*eeSimp-on, wifonf Lieutenant Simp*on# United States Army, after an illn^ft- of three months, was announced la-t Wednesday. Mrs. Simpson was a daughter of Lieut William FiUhugh L r, of the Confederate States Army, who was killed at the find battle of Manama*. She was marri.d to Lieut. Simpson at ShepherdntOwn, about fifteen years ago.
