Fox, newly elected commander Ol McFarland Post No, 2, American Legion, has announced the appointment of committees to have charge of the regular and specnl activities of the post during the coming year. The post now has a membership of 140, the largest in its history, and it is essential that all members take an active interest in their various duties in order that the post may continue the high standard of efficiency that has been maintained in the past.The executive committee will consist of the commander, vice-commanders, adjutant, finance officer and past commanders Cole and Baskin,Committee on Ceremonies: H. M. Johnson, chairman. W. E, McBride and George Nicol. In addition to other ceremonies, this committee will be in charge of arrangements for till funerals of Legion members or other ex'•servicemen.Armistice Day Committee: Gustav Fredan. chairman, J. A. Shindy and R. L. Reese. In addition to the Huston program, this committee will furnish a speaker for every high school in the parish.Attendance Committee: R. H. Feat.h-or stone, chairman, J. B. Staples and S. L. White.Past Commanders Committee: S. L. White, chairman, W. S. Rutledge, W. E. McBride, Sanders Baskin, Paul Peters. C. B. Carter and J. P. Cole. This committee will have charge of the 1031 membership enrollment.Boy Scout Committee: George Nicol, chairman, P. C. Connell and L. C. Ga-hngan.Legion Boy’s Baseball Committee: L. J.
