llalvor Brandsgard. who loft for Perkins county Tuesday evening, received a handsome present from the Uriels last Saturday evening, llalvor has been a mom 1*3r of our famous home singing society for some time and a social meeting was called to give him a farewell reception. Songs, speeches and refreshments were the order, and before adjournment President Knudson in behalf of the Griegs presented Mr. Brandsgard with a handsome gold fob chain with seal properly engraved. Mr. Brandsgard lias a rine homestead alout 55 miles south of Lemmon. Knute Teigen and other members of the Brandsgard family will go to Perkins county in a month and will live uu their claims.
