A farewell party was given for Ucv. Werling and family by his mother, Mrs. Minnie Welding at her home south of town Tuesday evening. Rev. Werling has been visiting relatives here for several weeks and left Sunday for Ricliville, ill. where he will spend a week with Rev. Stegmeyer before going to his pome in Humbolt, Kansas. On Friday evening his sisters Mrs. Hermann and Mrs. W. Bremer entertained for them. A large number of relatives and friends were present at both parties.
