BIG DRAIN PROJECT.! Dver 18,000 Acres of Valuable Farming Land Will Be Drained.Cedar Falls, la.,' Sept. 10.—Through : the efforts of G. F. Wilson, a real estate man of this t-lty, Wright county will secure a drainage ditch next spring six miles In length, draining 18,-)00 acres of land. Wilson and C, P. L’olgrove of this city own a half section of land near Dows which was un-tillable in the spring because of the nigh water, and Wilson spent two weeks In the county, just returning after having secured the signatures of x majority of the people of the county asking for a county ditch, it will cost Hie property owners about $1 per acre. The ditch will follow n nitural draw *nd empty into the Iowa river._4_
