It can be done and it should be done. Having seen these fairs undertaken and carried out in other cities, the writer begs leave to offer u few suggestions; Let the fair be held from Monday, October 10th to Saturday, October 15th inclusive. Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show wilt bo here on October II1h( this could be advertised as an attraction Fair week. Let the Frankfort Jockey Club get up a week's Fall Meeting for Fair week and advertisesome good race* for every afternoon during Fair week. IM the Street Car Company also get especially good attractions at their Park that week also.Let the Committee on Arrange- I menta get op a neat circular advertising nil of tlie above attractions, also descriptions of interesting points about Frankfort, and send them out ah over the State. Secure , special low rates on all railroads, of course, and hundred* of jwople that never entne to Frankfort be fore will come to the Capital City and will undoubtedly spend money.Let some of our enterprising business men take hold of this mutter and give Frankfort what she never had before, a brun new up-to-date Street Fair*It will bring hundreds of dollars to1 Frankfort, besides advertising the city m she was never advertised before.
