Died.Jason 13. Smith, of Havelock, died at his home Friday morning after an illneBs of ten weeks. Deceased was once a resident of Radcliffe, also of Eldora. lie was born in Wyoming county, N. Y„ May 5, 1843. He came to this county in 1865 and located in Pleasant township. HewaB in business several years in different towns in the county, and in 1895 went to Havelock where be was engaged in the clothing business.The funeral was held at the home of H. E. Batson, in this city Sunday morning, conducted by Rev, 0. H. Marsh, and the remains were laid to rest in the Eldora cemetery.
