[Buffalo Conner.]Muybridge, the photographer who has been taking picture# of the animal* at the Philadelphia Zoological Gardena, ia to photograph McCaffrey,the pugilistic artiat, in the act otf pounding an opponent. The picture* are to be taken purely in the interest of acience, under the auspicea of the University of Pennsylvania, and eu-' graved plate* of them are to appear in books to be published by the University. The object, of course, is to illus-u-ate the play of the human muscle* in different movements of the body. This recalls tbe fact that John Iiuskln in one of hia works on art describes Tom Allen, the fatuous English pugilist oi a former generation, as possessing a near approach to a perfect human figure.
