Banners-up Fifteen year old Johnny Givens of Burford walked off with second prize money of $30 and 17 year old Karen O'Rourke of R. R. 1 Acton captured third place and $20. Miss O'Rourke was crowned Fiddle Queen at the Canadian National Open Old Time Fiddlers' Contest in Shelburne, last year.Bach of the eight contestants was required to play a waltz, a Jig and a reel or hornpipe within a three minute time limit.Cue st judge North American Fiddle Champion Graham Townsend was special guest judge. Life member R. L. Davidson In* troduced contestants by number and ladies from the Golden Age Qub sat on stage garbed in old fashioned dresses.
